Welcome to “LOTATA,” a brand founded by a deep love for tatami culture and inspired by it.

I spent my professional life in Japan, immersed in this country rich in tradition and culture. Especially the love for tatami, which is a cultural experience that transcends furniture and seems to be a lifestyle of harmonious symbiosis with nature. After returning to my motherland, China in 2022, I missed the peaceful time in Japan and came up with the idea of starting Louann, hoping to bring the beauty of tatami to more people.

Louann’s mission is to create a sanctuary for you—an escape from daily fatigue, a place to rediscover inner peace. We’re committed to integrating the essence of Tatami culture into our products, providing you with a haven of tranquility amid life’s hustle and bustle
